Award Winning Poem,
What You Stole From Me

Untitled I
Untitled II

What You Stole From Me

Rape me
Ripe me
Suffocate my youth
Steal away me innocence
Dilute
Degrade my truth
Mutilate my organs
Tear them into shreds
Kiss me
With your blameful lips
Manipulate my head
Tie me into knots
You know I can’t undo
Whisper sweet fake
Promises until
I fall in love with you
Dress me up in
Shame
Guilt
Turn food into a sin
Convince me that I need you
Here
To keep the feelings in
You make me lie
Scream
Purge
In hopes of being thin
Even with my home court advantage
You always seem to win
So as I lay
You have your way
We both know who your killing
You tell me this is what I want
Of the void you’re filling
When I speak my mind to you
All my hate is spilling
You look me in the eye
And say:
It's not rape, when your willing.

Untitled I

A Young Poet is what you see
Ask me?
I see a young man ready
To succeed
Had a debate
Graduated with a 98
Thanks to a teacher
Who made it happen
In a day and a half
If it wasn't for that teacher
And the 98
What would have happened?
Now he's moving
Moving on to a better place
Going to go to school
Do what he got to do
Work for what he wants
Now that Young Poet
You once saw
Is going to return
Return as the successful man
I once had a vision of

Untitled II

You're a teacher
A guidance counselor
Who people need
You're there to give
I've been through
So much
So much
You wouldn't believe
That's why I write in hope
Of gaining a friendship with the teacher
Guidance counselor
I write about
I want to be your friend
Una Amiga is what I seek
No need for a guidance counselor
Or a teacher
There are plenty of those around the world
I want a true friend
A real Amiga
With the teacher, guidance counselor
I write about
I write in hope of making
What we have
A wonderful friendship between Amigas
I have just one question
Are we Amigas?
If we are...
Thanks Christina
