Get a cup, get a glass
Make a toast for change
Just relax, say the facts
Get your life to rearrange
Make a toast to what your not
Or what you won’t become
Whether it’s not dying, not get pregnant,
Or go to school and not be dumb
Make a toast about your life
The past, future, and now
Put your cups in the air
I’m gonna show you how
Put your cups in the air
And say “I’m one of the finest”
Every voice that said
You can’t do it is silenced
The person you were before this moment
Their turn is over
You have the strength of Hercules
When you have weight on your shoulder
Every reason that tells you
Things will never change, disappears

Innocent people
Bein’ attacked
Girlfriends & wive’s
Home alone
Becuz' their boyfriends
& husbands are gone
Their body just
Lyin’ on da ground
'Cuz of a bomb
Or an A.K. 47 sound
A round of bullets
Or an explosion
Bush’s decisions
There’s no controllin’
